APPLICATION PROCESS

The usual application period for universities in Prague is from December to April. Occasionally, applications of students who will take English or Czech preparatory classes may be accepted at anytime.

It is vital to pay attention to the application dates announced by the universities that students want to apply to. Please contact us for more information.

RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree

In order to apply to Czech universities, a sufficient level of English language proficiency, CV, transcript, and other general documents, as well as your diploma that belongs to your highest education and the recognition of previous education in the Czech Republic are required.

Recognition of Previous Education means that your highest education level is recognized in the Czech Republic. If the country you have acquired your previous education requires recognition in the Czech Republic, a separate application needs to be made in certain authorities. This recognition process might vary from student to student, more precisely, depending on the courses the student has taken and the courses’ credits. Thus, it is very challenging to predict the process exactly or estimate a precise scheduling. Our consultants who are experts in this process aim to provide assistance in the recognition of previous education processes.

Master's Degree

Recognition of a Bachelor’s degree in the Czech Republic is an easier process compared to a high school diploma recognition. After the application is made by our consultants and requested documents are sent to the authorized educational institutions, the process approximately takes 1 month in general, but in some exceptional cases it might take up to 2 months. However, in some programs, you are allowed to obtain your recognition of previous education during preparatory year, if needed. Feel free to contact us for more information

ADMISSION PROCESS

Bachelor's Degree

Unlike other EU countries, you do not have to take the exams of higher education institutions in your own country and get a certain score for the undergraduate education you plan to take.

In order to be admitted to Czech Republic Universities, it will be sufficient to have a high school diploma and a certain grade point average in the school. You can contact us for more detailed information.

Master's Degree

Since the language of instruction in many graduate programs is English, you are expected to have a certain English proficiency. For this reason, there is an acceptance score that you will get from the IELTS and TOEFL exams, which varies from school to school.

Apart from these, some graduate departments accept students according to the result of the student admission exam and the quota opened. You can contact us for more detailed information.

VISA PROCEDURES

Unlike the other European countries, both the Czech Republic consulates and the Ministry of Interior in the Czech Republic give greater importance to paperwork and examine the details thoroughly.

In order not to be adversely affected by bureaucratic issues that may arise during the visa process, it is crucial to apply for the student visa with complete and up to date documents.

Students who have received an official acceptance letter by the university in the Czech Republic can apply to the Embassies of the Czech Republic for a student visa if they have all other necessary documents for a complete application.

You can contact us for further information regarding the necessary documents.

ENROLLMENT PROCESS

Registration to Czech Republic Universities can be done after your admission.

During the registration process, we are there for our students to make the necessary communication with universities in the smoothest way possible. You can contact us for more detailed information.

ACCOMMODATION

Among the European Union member countries, the Czech Republic is one of the countries that offers a wide variety of accommodation options for students. These are respectively;

University Dormitories: Accommodation that might be provided by the universities is preferred commonly by many students. (150-300 Euros/month)

Private Dormitories and Hotels/Hostels: Due to the possible quota problems, which might be experienced in state university dormitories, private dormitories are also preferred widely. In addition to this, as in many countries, staying in hostels, even for a short time, is still an alternative. (200-400 Euros/month)

In addition to this, as in many countries, staying in hotels or hostels, even for a short time, is still an alternative, particularly, if it is the first time. (200-400 Euros/month)

Student Housing: In Prague, in addition to dormitories, students can also rent a flat with other students. This is called a shared flat option. Please bear in mind that student housing option can be costly compared to other options. (300-450 Euros/month)

Studio Flat: Besides other options, there is always an option of furnished studio flat as well. The number of students who prefer this is also remarkably high and it is the coziest one compared to other dormitory and housing options. (600-800 Euros/month)
